You can try and disable tracker if you wish; to do this you can do the
following:
$ sudo vim /etc/xdg/autostart/tracker* (there are a few of them)
tracker-extract.desktop
tracker-miner-fs.desktop
tracker-miner-user-guides.desktop
tracker-miner-apps.desktop
