This toruble should be posted ina forum abut Open/Libre Office, I think there you would obtain better and more accurate answers. In my own experience, ooolatex doesn't works. But I don't care, I use LaTeX almost everyday and that's ok for me. I'll see what about TexMaths, sounds interesting. Good
