Hello,
noticing since yesterday that when I start evolution my laptop
temperature rapidly jumps from 40-45 degrees to 70-75 and I'm forced
to stop it.
When starting it, without doing anything I see this "top" output
sorted by %cpu that explains the jump:

prior page (or pages, for multiple presses), then go (correctly) forward
