I\m trying to install ATI Catalyst driver in my Fedora 16, based on this
guide http://drivers.downloadatoz.com/tutorial/28193,how-to-install- but it
does not work, after installation when I reboot it stalls when trying to
start the graphic mode...

TL;DR: grub2 turned out to be a disaster. Grub from F15 was still there, so
it was able to boot F16, but after applying the updates, uninstalling grub2,
installing F16's grub, it fails to boot with "Error 16".

I tried the Fedora 16 live cd before installing it. Everything runs
smoothly, but after a few minutes, one of the fans starts becoming loud
and the temperature meter says it's 36.5 C. Its normal operating
temperature with Fedora 14 is 28.5 C. I suspect the culprit is the
video card fan.

What's the proper sequence for bringing rpmfusion up to date when
running preupgrade. I'm assuming preupgrade doesn't auto-update the
rpmfusion-release package, but, maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know?

As someone has pointed out here a few days ago, chown has a --from
option where you can specify the current owner and group, so there's
no need to use find.

Dear all,
I tried Digikam 2.3 from the testing repo and the problem is still
there. MySQL DBs cannot be created. Digikam is able to create the
tables in the digikam profile, but not in the thumbnails one. It looks
like a Fedora-only problem.
