Hello Kanel users,
I started using kannel for a sandbox on Mac OS X. However, when I attempt to
install it, I stop at the Make step. I figure there's still a problem with
iconv however, I'm a little bummed fixing it.

It turns out that in order for kannel to be pass the `make` step, you must
have downloaded at least version 1.5 and have updated libiconv to the latest
version.
I think I'll probably run into a similar problem; but I'll share what I get
when start implementing my own instance of kannel in a rackspace server :)

Eugene, I agree with Simon that your application can also be made to send a
number of messages per second (I'm testing up to 100sms/s on my dev machine).

lol... I really think we could start a wikibook of some kind where we have
case studies of how people have built basic stuff with Kannel, at least
this could save newbies the time it takes to play with kannel. I nice
wikibook would do with neat tricks.
