probably a configuration problem on the operator side.
My meta seems right? The last 2 parameters are optional and I can set whatever
I want there right?

Looks more a HW/O.S issue than kannel.
1. Update all the CentOS to the latest yum update
2. Look for MySQL tuning like

3. Update ethernet board driver according to man
Change LAN board, cable and switch port.
