I have been searching for a usable kannel configuration for a Siemens MC56.
So far I have not come across anything that works.
I am wondering if anyone one out there has a configuration that should work.
I really appreciate any help that any and all can provide.

I am using Kannel and PlaySMS
When I use this: allowed-smsc-id
It works but every time I reboot or restart the server it changes.
For instance I have 2 modems:
smsc-id = MODEM-1 this modem uses number 2
smsc-id = MODEM-2 this modem uses number 6

work nice also I am testing with 2 of them now.

Usually when I add a modem in linux I get and address like this
for a single modem:
dev/usb0
dev/usb1
Now with this modem pool of 8 Siemens Port I am getting a usb
address like this:
dev/usb0

Trying to send an SMS from one of the modems in my modem pool
using Siemens MC56. After doing this AT Command AT+CMGS=”+35386827”
I get +CMGS: # telling me the message went out but it never
