newbie since I have not deployed a system that would really send thousands of
messages per day. I have set systems with tops 2 USB modems. I have a few
questions, and will really appreciate if someone can help with this ver
e the computer has like 4 different USB
ports, how do I know which one is it?
2. does anyone has a sample configuration for a usb Motorola phone ?

it would not use parity... or would it?... would be any of the other
parameters?... Although this is not strictly a Kannel issue, it is a Kannel
issue in the sense that I should be able to get it to work well in minicom
before I can do anything else in Kannel

I will appreciate anyone's help on this error trying to send a msg through
a sierra airbus 881. Error 404 Answer Unknown Request, I have tried
extensively and I get this answer no matter what I send to sendsms. I am
surprised since the drivers to read the airbus card work well, and
bearerbox loads

I am logged as root. It is not a file permission thing. I regret I cant
find information on some fundamentals here, for example:
1) how can it not know to what sms center to send it to?, in the conf
file:
group=smsc
smsc=sierra
but the access.log has SMSC: BLANK
