I second Alvaro. Please ask your operator to give you the manual of sending
and receiving SMS with this encryption. Nothing can be done on kannel side.

Don't you need v=1 for logs? I use this:
sqlbox -v 1 /etc/sqlbox.conf
and then
tail -f sqlbox.log

Are you sure registered_delivery is set on the messages going out? smsbox
should be receiving the dlr's back, there must be something on bearerbox
log and eventually smsbox log, do you have log-level 0 on both?
