You should ask your provider to explain you how to convert their
MSISDN to a plain phonenumber.

The problem is from your provider. Kannel recognizes numbers and not
alphabetic letters.

I have setup kannel gateway with all config data..
when i connect smpp from another server it is connected but after 20-30s it
again disconnect and connect...
opensmppbox.conf
group = core
dlr-storage = internal
group = opensmppbox
opensmppbox-id = smpp
opensmppbox-port = 2775
bearerbox
Hi Mirza,
That's a strange behavior. Check one of the bearerbox timeout settings.

Thats the problem, please tell me how do i check bearerbox timeout setting?
To my main host there are 2 other smpp running very fine just this one
which i made locally it is disconnecting there...
check this my kannel.conf file..
