I have figured out that CMS ERROR: 500 in MY CASE is:
1) My modem is, by default, in "text mode" for SMS sending and Kannel
(bearerbox) is sending messages in PDU mode
2) Kannel, as far as I can see can work only in PDU mode

application. I am able to send sms to a mobile phone from my application but
cannot receive from a mobile phone. I have had sleepless nights on this. Any

Is anyone familiar with a problem when UCP smsc speed
drops temporarily under load?
throughput is set to 30, but the actual speed drops to 2/3 messages per
second (though there are plenty of messages queued up on the smsc) for
about 15-20 minutes and then comes back to normal.
