Hi,
Could you share me the sample code in receive.php? I don't know how to write
code to receive message from the kannel? Moreover, would you mind guiding
how to put this file?
Thanks,
Sambath

Greetings!
I'm trying to configure kannel modem settings for my Nokia 6300 and still
having troubles with activating the message notification via CNMI. In
minicon I get ERROR response even for AT+CNMI=? or AT+CNMI? or CNMI=?. I
guess it means Nokia 6300 doesn't support those AT commands? I tried

Some Nokia phones are indeed reported not to support the AT+CNMI command.
About your other error: Try message-start = 1 in group = modems (which
should be the default).

Hi
Has any one worked with a wavecom wireless cpu modem on kannel. If yes what
configuration parameters should i use to make it work?

Thanks Rene,
I tried to set the correct message storage with no access at all:
AT+CPMS=?
+CPMS: (),(),()
OK
So, I guess I can't receive any message on Nokia 6300 because neither will I
get notified (no CNMI) nor can I access any memory on it.. Already looking
for different device.

One last thought. Read latest UG there is a dedicated section about modem
setup. You can try using wvdial or trial & error to get a workable
init-string.

Kannel doesn't support sending "out of band" AT command to modem
I am still trying to understand the issue.
Running a test where fakesmsc sent 20+50+500 SMS I got a freeze on smppbox
after lets's 5 minutes:
smppbox only sent 394 SMS to smppclient
# ./stat.sh
Bearerbox - Received SMS: 570
Bearerbox - Sent SMS: 294
Access - Receive SMS: 570
Access - Sent SMS
Emmanuel,
You are running FAKE smsc in a non-standard way. It will only work when the
fakesmsc client is connected, and when sending from the client, it is meant
to send them back to the client. Instead you are redirecting to smppbox. I
don't know if that will work. I think that the client doe

Hey,
if it's not in the box you should be able to add such feature with ease.
The main
Ok Nikos,
I followed your suggestion and tried using smsbox CGI script that should
send normal packet to opensmppbox, in this case I used a different
architecture:
cgi --> smsbox --> bearerbox <---> loopback smsc ---> opensmppbox <---> smpp
client
and when my smpp client answer back:
smpp clien
Arf... I sent this mail too fast...
I receive 5 minutes later additionnal SMS too...using smsbox
So little bit disappointed here...

This is a different thing from what you were asking:
SMPP AO -> smbbbox -> bb -> loopback -> bb -> smppbox -> SMPP AT
Why keep FAKE smsc in the loop? What are you trying to do?

Well, I have lost you. However, smppbox doesn't have a store. So, if you are
saying that you restart it and sends additional SMS, these are coming from
somewhere else. Follow the log trail and you can find out who is to blame.
If it turns out it is smppbox, Rene is your man.

Hi,
you can add msg id parameter to your DLR URL as bellow
http://localhost:8811/sendsms?username=xxx&password=yyy&to=628&text=test+sms&dlr-mask=31&dlr-url=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%2Fdlr.php%3Fmsgid%3D1%26state%3D%25d%26msisdn%3D%25p
..
Hi,
In your dlr-url URL add:
&myid=1&
where you increment myid with each MT sent. Of course dlr-url should be
url-encoded when sent over sendsms.

Hi,
Your smsbox-route is wrong. Read UG about it. Also if you want
smsbox-routing you should give different smsbox-id to each smsbox. Otherwise
with the same smsbox-id, bb will just load balance between them.

Hi,
This is not a restart as you said. Process is still the same. But i think I
know what's wrong. I remember something that I stressed as architecture
defect in smppbox. It doesn't have a store queue. Therefore if all clients
disconnect, it will drop the connection to bb. As a result, if bb i
