Hi Team,
I using Kafka with strimzi as kafka operator. I wanted to monitor kafka
certificate expiry. We have Rancher kubernetes management tool which has
built in Prometheus and Grafana. How could we monitor certificate expiry
with current setup.

I did the following steps:
- Validated all signatures and checksums
- Built from source
- Ran all the unit tests
- I spot-checked the doc. I did notice the same version number as
Randal - but I expect that will get fixed when the docs are

AFAIK, Kafka doesn't expose this kind of metrics.
I did a quick search, and found there's a similar request in Strimzi.
