the files with something funny - you're not editing the config on a windows PC
with Notepad and then FTPing it to Linux, are you?

I have added the below lines at the bottom of httpd.conf
LoadModule vl_module modules/VlApache20_32.so
VlConfigFile /usr/local/vl/vl.conf
I have a issue is that when i start with the below command
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
