Just to let people that have been following the mod_auth_ldap problems,
my build is now working. Here is a script (it's just a dumb script to
capture my build procedure) I used to build openssl (0.9.7g), openldap

Hold on Dmitriy, I was out of town last week and some kind soul responded to a
message I'd put out a couple of weeks ago. Here it is, I'm going to take his
advice and I'll let you know how it goes:

Hi Dmitriy,
I've been trying to get this to work for 4 weeks now without any
success. I highly suspect that just relying on the configure script to
do the right thing doesn't work as I've inspected a few different Linux
distributions and all of them have had the same log output (e.g. "LDAP:

Hi all,
This is a follow up on my previous post about getting Apache
mod_auth_ldap to work with Novell e-directory. I'm trying to build
apache with ldaps:// support. I'm using the following versions:
OpenLDAP 2.2.28
OpenSSL 0.9.7f
Apache 2.0.54
This is all on SunOS 5.8.
When I run configure I

Hi,
I'm trying to build an apache (2.0.54 on SunOS 7) that will be able to
interface with Novell e-Directory to authenticate users using
mod_auth_ldap. I have a build that works using the OpenLDAP libraries
and normal ldap://, but when we try to do the same thing using ldaps://,
I get errors that
