do you have an index.html file in that directory?
You get a 403 forbidden if directory listing is not allowed and there is
none of the default files to show in the directory.

get a router that supports your dynamic dns provider (dyndns is the most
common).
I have a Draytek Vigor 2600 for example and it can update even custom dyndns
without any problems or additional software.
I do not think that any programs can be loaded into
the routers. I prefer not t
