I am mailing to ask why Apache's logging behavior was changed from 1.3 so that the %b and %B format strings describe bytes requested instead of bytes transferred. What is the reason to do this? As a customer with a webhosting provider who relies both on Apache 2's standard logging and log analysis

Owen,What we are doing is we reverse proxy our requests for a /main/ in the URL to one of our servers. Everything works so far except for this URL (/main/FileStore.ashx/Attachment/13001=Blue%20hills.jpg ) which is just a .jpg file. I don't know what is special about it! Same URLs without a %20 work
