Dear List,
According to the docs for mod_headers you can arange for the header to
be added either for sucessful requests only, or for all requests. But
it seems to me that the "always" case doesn't really mean always, as the
header is not added when access has been denied.

Thank you Davide.
Two Listen works :) Is that the reason wise say Listen twice, act once :))
I have a different server running on port 80, so I chose 81.

My guess, Richard's ISP is blocking incoming access to port 80. When I
had Adelphia Cable they did this, and I ended up running a webserver on port
81.

Hi,
Our Apache 2.0.54 configuration has both static and
dynamic modules. The problem we are having is that the static modules have
processed
the requst prior to the dynamicly
loaded modules (e.g. the static modules are always loaded before the
dynamic once).
And this is a problem for us.

Unrelated to the issue you are describing, Apache 2.0.51 is affected

You need two "listen" directives, one for 81 and one for 9099.

When I restart the server, I am able to see 9099, but no

Hello,
I have just switch to 2.0 from 1.3, I found that I can't use user/group in vhost anymore. Is there any way to set it up?
Please help, because my server is hosting more than one site & I
don't want the users can make use of Apache+CGI to read others files.
Thank you!
How can I force Apache2 to use existing crypt-generated passwords for
BasicAuth and which are currently working fine on Apache 1.3.
I am going to be migrating a lot of password lists to Apache2 and I'd
like it to be a silent migration.
Thanks

I'm convinced Apache 2.0.53 doesn't work as advertised in the
docs when
you try to get Basic Auth working without a .htaccess file.
