Well, my apologies also - I see now that the original thread stated a
normally working SSVM... Seems I was rushing with my answer :)

Hi Paul,
There are actually multiple occurrences. Two of which I can think right now:

Hi,
I'd like to add a question here - in the 4.11 documentation, CentOS 6 is still
the recommended release - CentOS 6 is quite old now and CentOS7 out for a
while. Is there a specific reason why we stick to the CentOS 6 recommendation?

You can install qemu-guest-agent if you use KVM.

Hi all,
Can someone suggest what packages are recommended to create a new cloud-init
enabled template for CentOS 7?
For an OpenStack environment we need below packages:
acpid
Cloud-init
cloud-utils-growpart
Also on the host machine we use virt-sysprep to remove mac addresses etc.

Good morning,
On centos7 try running this:
cloudstack-setup-management --tomcat7
When i try that, it works fine for me. This is due to tomcat 6/7 change.

Hi all.
My environment:
CloudStack 4.6.1 , CentOS7
http://packages.shapeblue.com/cloudstack/upstream/centos7/4.6/
Steps to reproduce:
1)clean install CloudStack 4.6.1 on CentOS7
use http://packages.shapeblue.com/cloudstack/upstream/centos7/4.6/
[root@acs ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS
Not yet. Source for 4.4 depends on Tomcat 6 and Python 2.6. C7 uses
Tomcat 7 and Python 2.7. I tried hacking the code to compile on C7 but w/o
success.

Is there support in 4.4 for Cent7?
Server install on CentOS7?
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-7106 has been created for the
task. I believe Hugo is working on some of this, but am unsure about the status.
Erik
the init scripts would work.

I suggest you examin closely if RBD/CEPH support is there, or if you need
to obtain qemu-kvm and qemu-img packages from Intank, etc...
CEPH integration for Centos 6.5 sucks, from custom qemu-* packages from
Intank that you need to get, to compiling libvirt etc...
Hope to see CentOS7 fix that
haven't tried yet but I don't foresee any issues.
