I wrote a simple C# program, it calls REST Management API to delete batch
of messages from ActiveMQ.It used to work fine,but my colleague found that
it did not work today. We simply catch an “execution timeout” exception
while calling the REST API.

Rest api is a cross-platform approach for java\c# or others.
You can create a text http request by WebRequest to send a command and parse
the response text to get the result.
