Hi again:
so, does that also mean that my broker will be able to fetch upto 4000
messages at a time? If so, I guess I will run out of connections, right?
Or, will that be managed by ActiveMQ? I will try to play with these settings
and get back.

Hi:
thank you for the clarification.
Is there a way to retrieve the queue stats? I wanted to retrieve the number
of messages, pending messages, etc. similar to those shown in activemq
console.

But, this does not retrieve messages more than 400. I knew that this was a
problem with the Jolokia API of ActiveMQ. But, I did not realize that there
was similar limitation with JMS API as well. Is there a way to retrieve all
the messages via JMS API?

Hi again:
I looked futher into this issue.
It is strange that, something seems to be wrong with my camel route bundles.
Initially, I was not able to replicate this issue on a different system.
Then, I used my camel routes bundle that was built 2 weeks ago. And, now I
see plenty of connections. I

I just had a quick look at QPID JMS example. Also, I tried out a simple
example to browse an ActiveMQ queue. I am not able to get the intended
result. I am getting an empty enumerator. Could be possible that I might
have misconfigured something.
Thank you for suggesting this alternative. I need to
I have a scenario where I cannot switch to Artemis right now. And following
up with several posts, I understood that it gets tricky for ActiveMQ to
communicate with JMS 2.0.

Artemis seems to make life easier. Unfortunately, I cannot switch to Artemis

Thus, I switched my implementation to fetch these information using JMS API
and that works pretty well (tested via a normal Java application) , but then

onException(..) error handler. There can be thousands of messages in this
queue.
Instead of using the ActiveMQ web console, I am building a custom web admin
