It is possible that default settings have changed, or additional
functionality was added that impacts performance.
BTW, is the messaging use-case that sensitive to latency?

I would recommend using a load balancer. You would put both up addresses in the
load balancer.
Thanks

I have not used oracle rac but it sounds like active mq is tied to a single
instance rather than any available oracle server. Have you considered putting a
load balancer in front that can determine whether the back end is up and can
route requests appropriately? Not sure if this would work as n

We were seeing lots of message not found in sequence and it is currently
at 5.9M entries recovered. Is there a way to know how many entries
there are so we have an idea when it might finish?

I would suggest checking out something like GlusterFS which created distributed
replicated data. We have used it for high performant applications without
problem. I am not sure how the slave knows how to not start - so this may not
work for you if it is based on file locking.
Thanks

We have been using ActiveMQ in our production environment now for a

client application has frozen and requires a restart to get processing
to resume. On performing a thread dump almost all the threads are

We ran into many problems getting JMX to work properly in our test
environment. We are running two instances on each server in our test
environment. We found the following changes got it to work and kept
them using independent mbean servers.
In the bin/env file add the following (We have it
say that 1328 shouldn't be there, but the log shows that it's there because
it contains acks for messages in 980, so it should be there, at least until
980 is deleted.)
