But Currently we are using activemq 5.11.2 wherein we
have slf4j-api-1.7.10. Similarly we have slf4j-api-1.7.10 in activemq
5.12.0
Not sure why compatibility issues are coming.

I'm not sure but I think the descriptions are written somewhere in the
properties of corresponding object class in the Artemis source code and
used by the metrics plugin.
For example, I have found the descriptions here:
https://github.com/apache/activemq-artemis/blob/23522fd83d3c16ca637223fa336103a
Another question I would have is: Are unrouted messages kept in memory or just
dropped?

Alexander,
Thank you for your reply. Where did you get that description? I did not see
it in the metrics plugin you shared.

Hi William,
I have configured metrics plugin which works as a Prometheus exporter.
Usually every exporter has a small description for each metric, which is
available on the /metrics endpoint as # HELP text.
Unrouted messages count is the number of messages which were sent to the
address and have
Thank you for this.
I will retest and advise soon.

Hi Paul!
While not an ActiveMQ dev we've used STOMP a lot (with receipts) without
any problems from Perl and Python.
How are the receipts coming in and what are you expecting?
Which version of ActiveMQ are you using? Classic or Artemis?
Which STOMP version are you using?

The STOMP receipts are not coming in as the STOMP specification dictates they
should.
The log4j troubleshooting page is of no help since the logger library has been
updated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Can someone please tell me what “unrouted.message.count” is? I am seeing
several topics with the number of unrouted messages over 100k, and I am not
sure if this is a concern or not.
I am also interested in what “Address size” is.
There is not much in the documentation on these metrics un
This looks like a problem with slf4j logging library compatibility.
