But, it's the ActiveMQ Web Console now, installed by default with the
newest ActiveMQ. Shouldn't the ActiveMQ PMC have some oversight into
their web console?

I add activemq-client 5.8.0 and icu4j 2.6.1 in maven dependencies. Then
I start, which will prompt me error below:

I think I discovered a bug in activemq-web-console under karaf (not sure
if it exists in the standalone amq).
When you try to open http://localhost:8181/activemqweb/connections.jsp it
will
show "Error!" and "Exception occurred while processing this request, check
the log for more information!".
