- e.g. when paging/swapping occurs.
You probably could try,if the mlock patch fixes your problem - perhaps have a
look at:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=8546589
for that.
I don`t think , that this is a "routing" problem.

Sure - you will not be able to mount a UML Cowfile with cowloop (should be
incompatible format), but I think you will be able to use
a cowloop with uml.
This project doesn`t seem very popular - so maybe announcing it here should
give it some attention.

around the startup proceudre
which
enables the consoles and network interfaces and disables it after the kernel
binary
exits, this makes it impossible to proper shutdown all the network interfaces
and
consoles when the uml guest instance has been shut down.
Does anybody have an ide
/su -l -c "vmlinux mem=128M ... eth0=tuntap,interface1
..."
this makes it impossible to attach a ip address to the eth0 interface inside
the uml
instance. But when i run it (the guest uml) as root. It works fine.
What can be the trigger of this behaviour?
Greetin
. It seems the bb4-patch needs a
little bit
of review to get it stable.
