[uml-user] How do i compile my module for UML kernel image

Hi, I have my kernel version "2.6.25.11-0.1-default" I compiled my module on the host system and loaded on with the UML kernel image 2.6.24-rc7-dirty which is available in the UML home page. I get a version magic error. How should i solve it? How can i compile my module to the lower version(2.6.
