I tryed to drop a forkbomb into a uml.
The host system is a Debian testing(lenny) with a vanilla kernel 2.6.20,
the latest skas patch for that kernel and sarge guest fs with 2.6.18
shipped with debian stable(etch).

Actually, that wasn't it. I had that problem a long time ago when I was
setting up UML for the first time. However, I quickly figured that out.
Trust me, on some of the kernels below 2.6.21, it really is related to
the networking code somehow. I have no idea how.
