I have been trying to set up a few uml's to experiment with network
services a bit. When I run /etc/init.d/named start on uml I get:
Sep 5 01:12:50 ldapserver named[1848]: starting BIND 9.4.0 -u named -t
/var/named/chroot

FORWARD DROP from the firewall, or
something stupid like that. I will have to check with the gentoo kernel
again to see at some point. Thanks for all your help, it was greatly

I have been fighting with the networking setup of uml for a couple of
weeks now on and off. I have been trying to set up a connection
outside my host linux box. I can get a connection which allows me to
ssh into the uml from the host or the host from the uml, but every
setup I have tried seems to
