I'm running Fedora 8 with 2.6.23.1-49.fc8 kernel (64 bit) . UML is
2.6.23. File system is Fedora 7 (AMD64) on nagafix.

Hi, kewlemer,
Which 64-bit filesystem did u use?
I tried several on this link: BusyBox-1.5.0-x86-root_fs ,
FedoraCore6-x86-root_fs. It still gives the same error message.
My machine is x86_64, so I didn't try the AMD_64 file systems.
By the way, I tried another laptop, which is a 32-bit duo core.

Use something more recent. 2.6.16 is way too old.
