patches are always applied to sources. Once you've patched them, you
can compile.
First of all you need "bzcat" program on your Linux distribution and
Linux kernel sources in your /usr/src directory.
Go to your kernel root directory, (e.g. /usr/src/linux , where linux
is a symbolic link
