What is the state of UML for x86_64? is it stable for a production
system? Looking at the mailling list gave me the impression that it was
not ready yet, but maybe it was me. Maybe if I can configure UML as a 32

I have a fedora core 4/i386 filesystem available at
http://www.stearns.org/uml-root/ , with some brief install notes at

I haven't booted it yet, but it seemed fine with chroot.

I answered my own question (again). Here is what I did to make me happy:

a filesystem locally using yum and moving it up to server vs installing
