My experiences with Yast-uml: nice to have but don't bother (at least as of 25.12.04) - unless you know how to fix the scripts. However: If you use a setup such as Gerd Kraxel describes on his page (http://www.suse.de/~kraxel/uml) you will get a decent root image and all associated stuff to get y

I'm running a 2.4.27 uml kernel on a 2.6.9 host kernel. While there are only 27 processes on the uml system, there are now 484 (and climbing) processes associated with the uml on the host system. Every time I execute a command on the uml system, the number of processes associated with the uml on th
