Well, JSF and Struts 2 doesn't have to be an either/or decision. You
can base your application on Struts 2, then use JSF components on any
page. If the JSF controller layer didn't suite your application's
needs and your design preferences, then Struts 2 is certainly worth a
look, IMO.

I am thinking that the best way to go for a new commercial level project is
