when talking about things like this - especially when it comes to the
driver, as Mark Matthews (author of the driver) post frequentl
that allready ;)

I went down the same road using autoReconnect="true" to no avail. Had
the same thing with tc4 and 5.. And c3po and dcbp.. Turned out to be
the driver.
I'd try the version 2 driver and then try the version 3 driver with
c3po, and test joe's and my competing theories..

alpha
& hibernate together.
