Jerry, the redirect is just a url to a new resource of some sort, usually a
response. The simple answer to your question is to put whatever you want
in the response object to which the user is redirected. If, however,

Another option someone else mentioned was to create a form in a jsp that
does a post submit to the page you are redirecting to using javascript.

Actually, the browser sends the request. The redirect instructs the
browser to make a new request to the server, and Tomcat (I assume)
