I was using the 'normal' method with forms and tiles. The problem ended up
being that I was inheriting my namespaces from 'struts-default' instead of
'default' so tiles weren't activated in that namespace.
The last couple webapps I wrote were on struts 1 so it's been an
adjustment. I do enjoy not

ValueStack is per created per request, so you don't know which action
exactly it will be.

struggling to understand why a webapp which works fine in Tomcat would not
work in Jetty.
I found that if Jetty does not expand the WAR file then I get this on
startup:
java.lang.Exception: Could not load
WEB-INF/classes/co
I'm using the jetty-starter

The same .war works without issues on Tomcat.
I set org.apache.struts2.convention to DEBUG and I see on the Tomcat
logs the convention plugins mapping my URLs
my problem?

Even we am facing this problem with my application whe it runs on proxy
servers.
Apparently, this problem occurs only with a certain proxy server. There may
be rules defined on the proxy server but being an internet application we
have to live with it and find a sol

shared comes from the database..
Interestingly, when the browser is refreshed the data shows up correctly.
we tried the no-cache as well as no-store stuff in jsps to no avail.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
