Folks...
Been searching the Apache web site and the archives, but haven't found
anything yet... I'm using Struts v1.3.x in an application and I'm
being asked to verify the export classification of Struts. Is there
documentation somewhere where I can determine this classification?
Or... if
Still using the 1.2.9 version of Struts and was posed an interesting
question. Considering the fact that dropping a modified JSP file in
the web container will force a re-compile of the JSP thereby
rendering a changed display. What are the possibilities if you drop a

Senthil Not sure if you still need this info, but here goes
anyway. Also... At the end of all this I have a question to the group
about DisplayTag and Struts. Sorry for the long winded-ness of this
email... Usually I need a little more hand holding than just a "check

As the Subject: line states I'm in the middle of converting a larger
Perl application to a Struts web-app running on the SUNWappserver.
The question was posed as to how to deal with all of the folks who
may have "bookmarked" a perl URL to the old app. I don't want to just

Maybe this is simple, but then again may it's not... I've got a
Struts app that I'm breaking up onto modules so that I can keep the

based on that code bas
I'm in the process of migrating a Struts v1.1 app to Struts v1.2.9
and having problems with log4j. After pulling the the Struts jar
files I've got all of the compile errors/warnings fixed, but when I
stop and start the web server I get:
warning: CORE3283: stderr: log4j:WARN No appenders cou

rendered as html code.
I was thinking that using the following in my JSP would take care of
this, but it doesn't. Here's the JSP line:
beanProperty="target" flush="true" />
Any clues what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks, ajTreece
O
I've been away from Struts for a couple of years so some things are a
bit rusty. My current project is converting a very complex Perl
application to Java. The project has a small portion already
utilizing Java and Struts v1.1... I'm under a very tight release
schedule so migrating to Struts
