for interview room OM creates "final" recording using all video pods
for conference/presentation rooms the :final" recording is created from
screen-sharing video and audio streams from room participants
there is no way so far to create audio-only recording

if you have a recorded video it is possible to convert it to any format
with a suitable
software and you can extract the audio, too, if you want to.
