Yes,
I think the problem might be also the resolution. You recorded at a screen
resolution of 1680x1050 (or 1040?).
It might be that later FFMPEG versions don't have an issue with that
resolution
or that if you try it from a computer with lower resolution (like
1280x1024) it might simply work.

The log seems to be incomplete (head is missing)
I believe you need to upgrade ffmpeg (you need 10.3+ version)
