Today I added a new user to OpenMeetings. It worked, but I was confused,
that I could not see him in the database (mysql) in the om_user table.
Could it be that there is some connection problem between OpenMeetings
and the MySQL Database which is also responsible for my uploading problem?

If you changed red5.properties you should disable apache2 service.

I did your suggested changings.
Yes, the Server is only for OpenMeetings, so I also changed the https
port in red5.properties file to 443.
The URL of the Server is:
https://openmeetings.bildung-rp.de/openmeetings/
and now I get the following error message in /var/log/apache2/error.log:

I found typo in configuration file, that I sent previously. See fixed
file in attachment.
Also I don't see OpenMeetings here:
http://openmeetings.bildung-rp.de:5080/openmeetings/
If you use this server only for OpenMeetings, you can change https port
in red5.properties file:
https.port=5443 -
unfortunately no.
I changed the both files of you (after backup) and restarted apache2 and
openmeetings. The OpenMeetings says it is up:

Maybe you did not wait for the start Openmeetings?
After restart Red5 in log file ./log/openmeetings.log you should see

And one more question, OpenMeetings and apache2 are installed on same
server?

Hello,
I checked your configuration file. As I see you try create https proxy
and send https traffic through it. But this is not good idea, because
you will have double traffic encryption.
Try to change following lines:
ProxyPass /openmeetings/
https://openmeetings.bildung-rp.de:5443/openmeet
@Denis can you take a look at this configuration?
It seems request is not reaching OM, Maybe you can suggest what can be done
here (which logs can be checked or something)

The vacation was fantastic, thanks :)
let's try to investigate your problem:
1) stop OM
2) delete everything in the "log" folder
3) ensure user you are using to start OM has rights to write into "log",
"webapps/openmeetings/upload", "webapps/openmeetings/uploadtemp" recurcively
4) start OM

Hope you had a great vacation!
Any clues how I could fix this issue?
