Well this did the trick. Thank you so much. I would recommend including
this step into the installation manual.

Well
This *FailedToExecuteCommand `'gs' *

Can you click the "exclamation icon"? it will show dialog with all steps

Though I did no problem encounter with M4, it doesn't work with the current
version now.

The logfiles don't show any error (as far as I can say) This is the
catalina.out content for these two uploads:

error is due to a missing configure options we are using during compilation.

Out of curiosity, would you happen to know any library we might be missing in
our source compilation that might be causing our source compiled ImageMagick to
not upload files?

Dear OM Community,
May we seek your guidance on the following "File upload error" we are facing
with OM5.0.0-M2?
.JPEG, PDF, MS Office documents: gives DELETED image
.JPG upload is successful, but has errors in logs
.PNG file upload is successful.
This was my second best guess
Why it is not in tutorials: I guess GS is being auto-installed on Ubuntu
with ImageMagic ...
Great you solve it :)

I did a clean install of openmeetings on Ubuntu 16:04, following each
step of the tutorial. All went well except for a message during the
installation of libraries that libgpac-dev not found.
However, when I attempted to upload a powerpoint file, I encountered
the same error I had in the previous
Yep
Ubuntu has ImageMagic available in its repositories
So you have 2 advantages:
1) no need to download
2) all dependencies will be installed automatically :)

Thanks again!
Just before I saw your email, I made the decision to do a fresh
install of openmeetings. I would therefore update you should issues
arise and would let you know how things went.
I have one question: I note that on the Windows 10 installation
tutorial, a link is given to download ima
So you have uploaded ppt file
It was converted to pdf, but not to PNG
Can you share this pdf with me?
Or maybe you cat try upload to demo server and check if it works?

Yes, the files are present. It was that file I downloaded and opened.
See the screenshots attached.

I believe the root cause is

No such file or directory*
Can you check with the file that exists?

Thanks again!
I downloaded and was able to open the pdf files on my laptop.
I then ran the command you gave in the console. This was the response:
convert: unable to open image

Can you check the file: /opt/red5402/webapps/openmeetings/upload/files/

4000-a827-cc7ba3070a95.pdf
and maybe try to open it PDF viewer?
if everything is OK
can you run the full command:
/usr/bin/convert -density 150
/opt/red5402/webapps/openmeet
Thanks again.
I installed imagemagick. The path to the convert file is usr/bin.
This is now the error after uploading.
process: convert PDF to images
command: /usr/bin/convert -density 150
/opt/red5402/webapps/openmeetings/upload/files/bed99551-f125-4000-a827-cc7ba3070a95/bed99551-f125-4000-a82
OK :))
what I can see from your screenshot:
1) you are using OM 4.0.2
2) it is not "upload" but "conversion" error
It seems you don't have ImageMagic installed (or maybe you don't have
it in PATH)
so please install ImageMagic (`convert` utility will be able to
convert PDF to series of images ...
Thanks for your reply.
I have attached a screenshot of the error. I attempted to upload a
powerpoint file of size 880kb. I also created a pdf with just the word
"test". I am seeing the files in the folder but with a small yellow
icon that indicates an error. When I click on the yellow icon, I am
Do you have any errors in the openmeetings.log file?

Some info on the file is also required

Any help would be appreciated.
