hostname is written in the file /etc/hosts OM over the GUI and OM via
moodle works with latest version of the om-moodle-plugin.

Moodle Version: 2.4.4
Openmeetings Version: 2.1.1-SNAPSHOT 1487794 30-May-2013

yes I have restarted OM and cleaned also the browser cache.
I have a red5 init.d-script which I start/stop & restart as root liked
described in the pdf-howto for debian squeeze.

I tried to change the ports for openmeetings like described here:
http://openmeetings.apache.org/PortSettings.html
to change the URL from:
http://openmeetings.mydomain.de:5080/openmeetings
to
http://openmeetings.mydomain.de/openmeetings
The System is: Debian Squeeze
The OM-Version is: 2.1
