Deleting recording files via API call

Hi, I wanted to delete recordings via SOAP/REST call and increase my storage capacity. So, Is it possible to delete recording files inside 'streams/' and 'streams/hibernate/' via any API call? -- *-Regards,Nagesh Mhapadi*
