I guess you need to give user rights for audio/video (mic with plus icon)
not moderator rights

When in Audio and Video mode, it is possible to change the stream volume
with the slider, but there is no slider when in 'Audio only' mode.
How can users increase and decrease their microphone volume in 'audio only'
mode?

to the recordings in OM as I want to keep my disk clear of the recordings.
