ely, the bug is blocking a key piece of our production
infrastructure and was not included in the 2.3.2 release. Do we know when
the next release of Hive will be, and if that commit will make it in?
Happy to provide any more information if needed.
Thanks!
Jack
Hi there,
I'm trying to use ACID transactions in Hive but I have a problem when the
data are added with Spark.
First, I created a table with the following statement :
__
CREATE TABLE testdb.test(id string, col1 s
Hi,
It is just a string literal I used as an example. Replacing it with "1"
does not affect the issue in any way
Best regards,

user access. You can configure it to server mode or use other
metadata store like mysql etc. Here's the tutorial for how to configure derby
server mode

Hi all,
I would like to have multiple users to access hive.
Does anyone try that before?
Is there any tutorial or link I can study from?
Best regards,

NULLNULL
I then replace "^A" with "^" in mytest.txt, and also re-defined my table
structure by using :
FIELDS TERMINATED BY '^'
So when I select all, I got the correct results.
Any thoughts??? Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Jack
ere some FAQ or blog or wiki or war-story archive or
