Maybe I don't get what you are trying to do, but using Cassandra and
Hector, what I do is:
I have the following column family definition
CREATE COLUMN FAMILY CF_NAME
with comparator = 'CompositeType(LongType(reversed=true),UUIDType)'
and default_validation_class = 'UTF8Type'
and key_val
Actually its an empty cluster i.e. no data is present, I am just trying
to get the decommission to work. The cluster just has keyspace and a
column family with no keys in it.
