but I guess you can enable 'passwd' authentication and disable
'keyborad-interactive' authentication by modifying
/etc/ssh/sshd_config.

directly, his sshd supports 'publickey,keyboard-interactive'.
I think that is the reason; sshexec in Ant has not supported
'keyborad-interactive' yet. It is easy to add KbdInt support, but it
is for the interactive session

Jsch is an implementation of SSH2. It does not support SSH1. What is the error
message you are getting? What implementation of SSH2 are you using on the
server? OpenSSH?
