While my anecdote referred to an early unsolicited survey, my applications are
directed at participants in specific projects and use approved e-mail lists; I
don't send out to any general lists gleaned from the Internet, etc.
While my requests do not involve commercial or marketing activities,
I will say that sending multiple emails, depending on the smtp server, may be
interpreted as spam. We had a tenant in our building trying to send email via
Outlook and Exchange, using a group, not realizing that Exchange sent multiple

I use a program called MaxBulk Mailer from:

They have Mac and Windows versions and in several languages. It's $50.
You can throttle it back so it only sends so many emails back to back.
Please use it to send only to those who've opted into your mailing list!

Or better yet why not avoid the greased pole to techno-hell and swear off

Sending email is tricky. If your dataset is small, a loop with Sarahs
libraries will be enough. If your dataset is larger then, I think the best
option these days is to your Amazon Simplemail tools. Amazon besides S3, E
