In the Menu Builder, underneath the [Delete Item] button, there are two icons. The left one is to “Make the submenu item into a menu item” and the right one will “Make the selected menu item into a submenu item". On a side note, while checking this out and refreshing my memory of the menu build

I don't see a way to add submenus to the left-hand list. That might be the problem. Only the menu items on the right side allow that. If you want to create submenus in the main menus on the left, I think you have to do it manually in the property inspector by adding tabs in front of submenu ite

I assume that v8 works the same as v6. The menuItems are just the contents of a button. So in any of the button types that suit you, subMenus are distinguished by preceding tab characters: A B (tab) c (tab) d E F Her the "c" and "d' will be a submenu of "B". Check out the user guide. There are
