We did weight up very carefully the choice of platform for this campaign.
In the end we decided on our own site as we thought the backers would be
weighted a bit more towards our existing community for this particular
campaign. We and our community did most of the publicity work on the last

I don¹t want to sound complacent because I¹m really not. However it may be
worth remarking that our previous Kickstarter campaign was in a similar
position at this stage. There may be a long way to go. But we can do this.

Maybe the Kickstarter 15% commission? The Kickstarter plus is the larger
audience though. Looking at the current HTML5 campaign, it's a long way
off making its' goal right now so the larger audience may have been needed.
The campaign is about half way though as of today. At the current run

Dear List Folks,
Today our HTML5 Campaign passed the 20% tipping point. Crowd funding statistics
show that once a project gets past 20% it has an 80% chance of being
successful. This is encouraging, but of course its not time to sit back and
become complacent. We've a long way to go yet.

What about the people over at the Landsat project? If they haven't pledged so
far, it wouldn't take much convincing to get them to see the huge advantage for
them! A perpetual Livecode would be right up their alley!

Here's a RAD idea. Most local "printed" newspapers have an editorial
column where anyone can just write about their interests. If many of us
could submit articles about the possibility of regular folk being able to

Thanks, Kevin. Any ideas of what we could do to get more coverage
outside the LC community, besides what is already listed?

Yes, we tried to connect it to the RunRev page but it doesn't let you. It
can only be connected to a person, which is not what we want to do. I
guess its easy enough to find our FB page if you look for it.

One small thing that could be done is to link the RunRev Facebook page to the
Kickstarter page. At the moment, the text "Has not connected Facebook" is
displayed by the Facebook logo on the Kickstarter project page.
